Porcelain Veneers
Made from fine but incredibly strong porcelain, porcelain veneers are bonded to the fronts of teeth to make them look longer, straighter, more uniform, whiter and / or to fill gaps. Once bonded they can also strengthen teeth by up to 60%, are more conservative than crowns (as they preserve more of the tooth) and are incredibly secure. ‘Teeth for Life’ only use the most experienced laboratory in the country to produce veneers and many stars have benefited from the incredible results that are possible with this versatile material.

The Non-surgical Face Lift
Also known as the 'Smile Lift', veneers can be used to widen your smile. In doing so, not only will they provide a whiter, brighter, more perfect set of teeth but they will also create a more youthful appearance on the outside as they help to reduce surface wrinkles and sagging cheeks.

Crowns and Bridges
Damaged teeth, caused by decay, trauma, accidents etc, can be restored to their original beauty, strength and function (and often improved upon) by the use of crowns and bridges. Crowns apply to individual teeth and bridges use a crown either side to span a gap to replace one or more teeth. Crowns and bridges may also be used successfully following root canal treatment as this often makes teeth brittle and weak. Crowns (or inlays) can be used to protect the tooth and restore its strength to prevent further breakage and damage.

Tooth Coloured Fillings
Although popularly known as 'white' fillings, the new kinds of tooth-coloured fillings are matched very closely to the natural colour of your own tooth and therefore are almost undetectable (see pictures). Teeth for Life is an 'amalgam-free' practice as we do not use mercury in fillings due to the potential dangers associated with it. We use the most modern, strong and long lasting white fillings which can be put directly into the mouth. These are set by a high intensity blue light and bond to the teeth to fill the hole and increase the tooth's strength and rigidity. If the cavity is large then we may use a 'perfect-fit' white or gold inlay made in our laboratory to provide added strength to the tooth.

Implants
Nowadays implants are incredibly successful and offer patients an opportunity to replace missing teeth without interfering with adjacent teeth - or drilling. When a tooth falls out, or is removed, it leaves behind an empty socket. A root is made from 100% titanium to fill this socket and then a crown produced to attach to it. Titanium is the best material for implants as it is one of the world's most bio-compatible materials (so the body does not reject it). This implant method is exactly the reverse of an extraction - and painless.
